SERVICES

Passive Techniques

Animals break into your attic, climb into your chimney, etc. out of a natural drive to find shelter. We use their natural drive to get food and water to evict them from your home. A unique one-way door is placed over the animal’s entry points, instead of live trapping the animal. As they exit the home to go look for food and water, the door securely closes behind the animal. Now they are out and free to roam but this forces them to find a new residence.

Direct Techniques

Animals whom make their way into the “living” space of your home, which is most commonly by accident, need to be captured and released outside. Back To The Wild will attempt to capture the animal and release it, or we will set a live trap, depending on the situation.

Injured Animals

When it comes with dealing with an injured animal, ALWAYS use extreme caution when approaching the injured or sick animal. It can easily become aggressive, as a defence, it does not realize you are trying to help it. Along with the possible aggression, the type of diseases that it could be carrying could be transmitted to you or your pets. Although we do not have the ability to treat or care of the sick or injured, we do provide pick up and transportation of the animal to a facility that is equipped to deal with the situation. For more information about dealing with an injured or sick animal please visit the Toronto Wildlife Centre site.
